The event will take place from the 19th to the 24th October 2017 at the Technopolis City of Athens.

The Venue

Official language – Interpretation

The conference official language is English. Simultaneous translation Greek-English and vice-versa will be available in the Main Hall (Amphitheater).

Speakers’ Info – Presentations

Hand-in your presentation (CD, USB-key) at least 2 hours before the beginning of your session at the Speakers’ Ready area next to the Secretariat.

Please note that: After completion of the event your presentation and synchronised video (webcasting) will be posted on the dhealth.gr website.  If you do not wish your photos from your session, or video / presentation to be published or if you only wish to upload the pdf file of your presentation email us at info@ehealthforum.org

Conference secreteriat

Check-in for the Digital Health Conference and eHealth Forum Events at the Secretariat, located in the NEW RETORTS Building (entrance from Persefonis St.). Please present an ID document to collect your Badge and conference material.

Access to all areas will be allowed only to visitors wearing the official conference badge.

PanelSensor tool for interactive Q&A and live polling will be available in the Main Hall (Amphitheater) and Room Purifier 1.
Use the App through your smartphone, tablet or laptop, so that you will be able to:

Currency and Banking hours

The currency of Greece is the Euro.

Banks are open from Monday to Friday between 8.00 to 14.00 hours. Some Branches at the centre of the city are also open in the afternoon Monday to Friday.

ATMs and Credit Cards

Automated Teller Machines (ATM) are located outside most banks. Cash can be withdrawn there, all days 24 hours (24/7). National and foreign Maestro Cards (Cash Cards) as well as Mastercard, American Express, VISA and Diners are accepted. Major credit cards are accepted almost everywhere.

Electricity supply

Voltage in Greece is 220V at a frequency of 50 Hz. Plugs are continental style, two-pin. A plug adaptor should be taken along for incompatible electric / electronic appliances that will be used.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor public places and on all public transport. However, in general pubs and restaurants have a designated outdoor smoking area.

Emergency Numbers

Whilst in Greece, European Union citizens may seek any help they might need (police, ambulance, fire brigade, coast guard) by dialing the number 112 from anywhere in Greece. The number is answered by English-speaking staff, and may be dialed from public telephones or mobile telephones.
