Dr Xochelli studied medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and was trained in Hematology at the Hematology Department and HCT Unit of the G. Papanicolaou Hospital in Thessaloniki, Greece were she acquired extensive experience in hematological malignancies.
She has also participated in training medical students in clinical skills, and has co-authored/translated relevant clinical skills books. Since 2014, she is pursuing postdoctoral research in translational medicine, where she elaborated on clinicobiological associations and immunoprofiling of B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders. Dr Xochelli has published papers related to translational and immunogenetic research in peer reviewed journals and conferences. Her current research interests include: immunogenetics and clinicobiological associations in human lymphoid malignancies, QoL in chronic hematological malignancies and, patient empowerment in care.
