Re-shaping healthcare systems

The 17th International HL7 Interoperability Conference – IHIC 2017 will be held back-to-back to the eHealth Forum, from the 22nd to the 24th October 2017 in Athens. The meeting will be hosted by HL7 Hellas, with support from HL7 Germany as permanent IHIC supporter, and other HL7 Affiliates. The Conference addresses interoperability in the health and social care domain. IHIC provides an interface between science, research and practice with regards to share experiences and best practices.

Tutorials for implementers and scientists are offered on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October. The Main Conference (Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 October) includes keynotes, invited speeches and presentations to be held at the Purifier Building, at the Technopolis City of Athens.

Keynotes

Three internationally highly acknowledged Keynote Speakers feature in the Programme:

  • Ed Hammond, PhD, FACMI, FAIMBE, FIMIA, FHL7, Duke University, HL7 International-US will present on “A New World for Better Health”
  • Bernd Blobel, PhD, FACMI, FACHI, FHL7, FEFMI, University of Regensburg, HL7 Germany, will address “Standardization for Mastering Healthcare Transformation – Challenges and Solutions”
  • Gora Datta, CAL2CAL Corporation, HL7 International-US, will tackle the Mobile Health aspects with “mHealth4ALL; Healthcare in the 21st Century”.

Presentations
